Identity Theft
Identity Theft is a very serious matter. Are you taking the right steps to protect your identity and credit?
There are numerous things you do throughout the day that make it easy for someone to steal your identity. A thief can access your personal information by:
- Stealing your purse
- Stealing your personal information through email or phone by acting to be a legitimate company or your bank.
- Rummaging through your trash for receipts or information that contains account numbers or even your Social Security Number
- Stealing your bank and credit card statements in your mail
- They can even complete a change of address form and have all your mail come to them.
Once a thief has that information they can steal your identity with out you even knowing it, and it could take you years to repair it. You can minimize this risk by managing your personal information cautiously.
