High Point Bank enjoys a tradition of supporting many worthwhile community events, both financially and through the many volunteer hours of our employees and their families. We get involved whether it is a charitable cause or just a good social time with other members of our community.

Community Involvement

At High Point Bank, we often note that our community involvements are our way of supporting those that support the Triad and we take that very seriously. After all, this is where we live and conduct business, and we recognize that we are only as strong as the communities we serve. In 2014, High Point Bank invested nearly $225,000 in over 180 organizations that provided assistance in education, gave aid and resource, assisted in healthy living and enriched the lives of citizens living and working in the Triad.

One major organization that we support is the United Way. Through our employee-giving campaign, our associates gave over $68,000 out of their own pockets in 2015 and the bank matched those gifts dollar for dollar, as it has done for over 30 years to the three United Way organizations serving our area.

In addition, High Point Bank was recognized by the Association of Fundraising Professionals as the 2015 Outstanding Business in Philanthropy for the city of High Point in recognition of the Bank's volunteer spirit and the Triad Non-Profit Summit event that the Bank stages each year to provide guidance to the region's non-profit organizations.

Financial Contribution is only Part Of The Equation

Where we invest, we also volunteer. On any day of the week, our officers and associates can be found serving on the boards of local nonprofit organizations, tutoring struggling students in public schools and coaching a wide variety of youth athletic programs.

In our lobbies, we further support the communities we serve by running food drives, clothing drives and school supply drives as well as, from time to time, selling tickets and handling the finances for fundraising events staged by civic organizations.
